I'm Thinkie. I live in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands with husband Maarten and bunny Aafje.
I'm a CFS patient and also have a joint-disorder and a stomach-disorder. These healthproblems limit
my energy and cause some other troubles. Therefore I can't work outside the house. A while ago I got
back into my highschool education (I had to give that up too because of my health) and at the moment
I'm doing a written (or more precise: typed) English course, I hope to finish that next year with an
examn and want to keep going with some other subjects, just because I enjoy it.
While other people go on vacation to relax, for me vacations are the most active periods of the year.
We have come up with a lot of little adaptations to make travelling easier for me and I always spend
a lot of time preparing. We use different types of transportation; plane, car, boat, tram, underground,
short busrides but most of all trains. We hardly ever stay in one place when on vacation and we do a
lot of sightseeing and visit tons of museums. Inbetween vacations we also go on a lot of daytrips,
there are a lot of pretty old towns and sights in The Netherlands and many, many museums.
Photography is my passion and with those photo's I like to make scrapbooks and photo-albums of our
vacations and daytrips and about our daily life. I'm also an art journaller. I like reading. I enjoy
other forms of crafting (like making gifts for people). I'm interested in a lot of things, history is
one of them. My favorite holiday is Sinterklaas. Wherever I go I bring one or both of my Cupcake mascots
with me. I'm a recovering nailbiter. I have a never ending to do list. I allow myself to give in to my
chocolate addiction just a little each day. I like rock music.
